Vincent Hughes is a dynamic and results-driven technology executive with over 25 years of experience leading enterprise IT transformation across healthcare, manufacturing, and sustainable technology sectors. Currently serving as Vice President of Information Technology at Generate Upcycle, Vincent is responsible for shaping and executing the company’s digital infrastructure and IT strategy to support sustainable growth and innovation.
Before joining Generate Upcycle, Vincent spent eight years at Veristat, most recently as Vice President and Data Protection Officer. He led global initiatives that included migrating infrastructure to Microsoft Azure, implementing enterprise-wide applications like Veeva Vault, NetSuite, and Anaplan, and developing cybersecurity and data protection programs aligned with GDPR, HIPAA, and other compliance frameworks. He managed IT teams across multiple regions and oversaw budgets exceeding $6 million to support a 650% headcount growth.
Earlier in his career, Vincent held leadership roles at ASO Worldwide and Florida Tile, where he executed large-scale ERP rollouts, established business continuity programs, and delivered IT solutions supporting FDA-regulated and ISO-certified environments.
Vincent holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of South Florida and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Physics from Murray State University. Known for aligning IT strategy with business goals, he brings deep experience in cloud computing, cybersecurity, digital transformation, and operational excellence.
